Natural Table Linens
Natural table linens describes both the process and the color. To create linen fabric from the flax plant requires minimal processing, uses no harsh chemicals and is sustainable; and our natural linen is the unbleached and undyed color of flax. Those simple origins shine through with the texture, warmth and earthiness of this amazing fabric. Below I have put together some ways I love to use natural linen - printed, hemstitched and mixed with other colors to create tables that are artistic, timeless and elegant but never stuffy.
Every neutral loves an accent. Our Cinta natural linen napkins come with an accent border in a range of warm accents - Gold (above), Fig Purple (below), Terracotta (second below), Red, Black and Green.
The Cinta tablecloth (above) is a natural linen printed with painted stripes to evoke party streamers laid across the table. A festive design in rich colors grounded by the lovely natural linen background.
Your accent doesn't need to be a color - white (above) and black (below) both pair beautifully with natural linen so you can switch out the different elements for a different look and ambiance depending on the occasion.
The Crow print was part of our first ever collection, originally on a blue background. We reproduced it on natural linen the following year which gave it a new flight and an enduring following. The reason it works so well is because of the unique character of natural linen to offset a painting - a characteristic that artists have been using for centuries.
Above I paired the Grania Feather Print Linen napkins whose print has the same taupe coloring as the natural table linens for a more traditional look, that still feels fresh and unexpected.
The natural table linens with a contrasting charcoal hemstitch (also available on napkins, runners and tablecloths) is a beautiful way to elevate and put a special personalization on your linens (monograms also available). The charcoal hemstitch works perfectly with the natural linen - and we also offer custom color stitching in over 500 colors - reds, greens, blues, pinks, blacks...let your mid run wild!
